Chanel at the Saatchi

The Saatchi Gallery, nestled in the heart of Chelsea and in an impossibly posh little area, is home to an ever-changing display of amazing contemporary art. Right now, there is an exhibition up called The Little Black Jacket, referring of course to one of the most iconic pieces of clothing around - Chanel's black jacket. 

Right now at the Saatchi, the walls are graced by the presence of celebrities and models wearing this wonderful piece in completely creative ways - everyone from Kanye West to Anna Wintour makes an appearance. Karl Lagerfeld photographed them all and with the help of Carine Roitfeld (former editor of French Vogue), the exhibition is a complete stunner.

and then the rest of these were just really cool...

Also really cool was the fact that at the end, you could take home prints with you! There were three options...so obviously I snagged all three and they are in my room now!

After that, got lunch at the Sloane Square market - HUGE meringues, beautiful pastries, fresh oysters and raw coconuts with a straw - so fun! 

and I got this for lunch - a lentil and quinoa cake on bed of salad - from a stand with completely raw and organic foods - and it was the most delicious thing ever (believe me!) ...and a (very large) bag of chocolate covered almonds

wonderful day!!
