Getting to know London: Regent's Park

It is going to take me a while to get to know all of London, so I'm attempting to do it in pieces. Today's excursion was to Regency park, the park closest to Christie's Edu. Took the Barclays bike...

and it was a beautiful day!

Here is one entrance gate on the inner circle

and beautiful pathways and flowers inside!

On my way back, I ran across a food market sponsored by the International Flavors of London - it was selections from the Shepard's Markets set up in small booths. I just happened to be craving lunch as I stumbled across it...

This was one option...that is a lot of risotto.

Finally settled on Moroccan. Grilled Moroccan flatbread stuffed with feta and spinach? Yes please.

Accompanied by grilled carrots and a beet salad. Perfect.

A few blocks away I found a charming park to sit down and eat.

Also, these mews are adorable. They are absolutely EVERYWHERE! I would not mind living in this one at all. Preferably in the medieval-looking one halfway down on the right.

More to come as I become more adventurous!
